Wave Rock is located just outside the small town of Hyden, 4 hours from Perth. The drive to Wave Rock itself if a historical one, taking you through the Darling Ranges and the historic town of York, across the oldest Plateau on Earth, part of the ancient Gondawana. Wave Rock it is also worth seeing at different times of the day, as the morning and evening sunlight alters its colour and appearance.
