Alice Springs is an oasis of colour in the middle of Australia’s Red centre. The town, once only considered a settlers village, is now a prospering outback community and is the gateway to Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park. Alice Springs is bordered on either side by the stunning MacDonnell ranges, which according to the traditional owners, the Arrernte people, were formed during the Dreamtime by giant caterpillars. Alice Springs is the place to connect with the ancient Aboriginal culture and gain an insight into more than 40,000 years of Aboriginal history.
